BESTIARY ENTRY IV
Sasquatch of the Outback
With the stature of a Golem or Goliath, the ape-beast dwells in the expanses of the Australian bush and outback. Anthropoid with a dark coat of fur and reminiscent of the American bigfoot or Himalayan yeti, the yowie vanishes quickly when encountered and is often heard rather than sighted. The yowie or 'Yohoo Devil' is often claimed to have otherworldly or spiritual connections to the dreamtime.
