Seeded Potential

Yearning for those warm months, here is a series of digital photographs taken in August of fresh homegrown cowpeas from the garden.

Dried for possible preservation, their color and texture contrasts with the vibrancy of the fresh picked peas. The potential of life rests in each pea, a seed for a future plant can also provide nutrients when eaten. The simple things around us are not insignificant; there is potential for growth in even the smallest factors of our lives.
